At the heart of Messiah’s Way are 12 essential beliefs that guide our faith.
- There is one eternal God, the Father, Creator of all things, who is perfect love and not a torturer.
- Joshua \JAHshuA\ (Jesus) is the Son of God, our High Priest and Savior through His death and resurrection.
- Humankind was created by the Son of God to rule over the physical world and reflect His glory. Humans are forever.
- Sin entered the world through disobedience, and false teachings have spread since the 4th century, deceiving many.
- Salvation is a free gift from Joshua, available to all who repent and turn to God in faith.
- Baptism represents our unity with Joshua's death, burial, and resurrection, beginning new life in Him.
- Believers receive spiritual gifts, like speaking in tongues, to strengthen the Church and spread the Gospel, with the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
- The Church (Ekklesia) is the body of believers, united in sharing the message of salvation through Joshua.
- The Church will be gathered to Joshua, and His Bride will join Him at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
- Joshua will return to reign for 1,000 years, protecting 144,000 descendants of Israel during the adversary’s deception.
- At the final resurrection, the dead will rise—some to life, others to death.
- God will create a new heaven and earth where He will live with His people forever.
These beliefs shape our worship, our service, and our mission as Mighty Sons, united in faith and dedicated to living out the teachings of JAHshuA. Some today call Him Yahshua or Yehoshua, but these often do not teach the Spirit or the Power of God, nor do they speak in tongues or heal the sick. There is healing power in the name of Jesus, and there is nothing wrong with saying Jesus, yet we must, through His guidance, worship God, His God and Father.
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵
We stand firm in opposition to the traditions and widely accepted views that have been handed down through the Roman Church. Over centuries, man-made doctrines and practices have replaced the pure, untainted truth of Scripture. These traditions, while embraced by many, are not rooted in the Word of God but in the influence of men and political power.
The Roman Church has adopted practices that deviate from the commands of JHVH. Whether it’s the shift of the 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗵 from the seventh day to 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, the elevation of 𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, or the 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 and the 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀, these traditions are not founded on the teachings of 𝗝𝗔𝗛𝘀𝗵𝘂𝗔 (𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀). They obscure the true message of salvation and the covenant relationship that JHVH desires to have with His people. We reject these deviations.
Additionally, we oppose the false teaching that portrays God as a 𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿. God is 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 and 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹, and Scripture reveals that 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀, not eternal in his flesh. The bodies in 𝗚𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗮 do not remain in eternal torment but serve as an example to the descendants of 𝗔𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗺 forever on the new earth—𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗻.
Our authority is not given by men. It is not bestowed by any institution, church, or human hierarchy. Our authority comes from JHVH, the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the eternal “𝖨 𝖠𝖬”. We follow His Word, as revealed through His prophets and through 𝗝𝗔𝗛𝘀𝗵𝘂𝗔, the Messiah. The foundation of our faith is built on the truth of Scripture, not the doctrines of men.
We choose to walk according to the ancient paths, the 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘀 and the 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 that JHVH Himself established. We acknowledge the 𝗦𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱, 𝗝𝗔𝗛𝘀𝗵𝘂𝗔, as the one who brings salvation, and we reject the distorted teachings that have led many astray. In this journey, we stand apart from the institutionalized traditions that have misrepresented God’s truth for generations.
We seek to restore the simplicity and purity of faith, where the 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 JHVH and the truth of His Word is supreme. This stand is not popular, and it is not easy. But we do not seek the approval of men; we seek to honor JHVH and His truth.
